The Personal Side...

Who Is Jet?
Jet Bunditwong is an entrepreneur, business advisor, and the host of The Personal Side of Business podcast and YouTube channel. Over the course of his career, he has built and operated businesses in e-commerce and real estate while also spending more than a decade working in the credit card processing and insurance industries. During that time, he worked closely with over 800 businesses across a wide range of industries—from small mobile startups to multi-location franchises—helping them navigate growth, operations, and financial systems. This hands-on experience working with entrepreneurs ultimately led him to become a business advisor with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in San Diego, where he continues to support founders and small business owners in building sustainable companies.
Through his podcast and media platforms, Jet interviews entrepreneurs, founders, and professionals to explore the real stories behind building businesses—the successes, challenges, and personal lessons that shape the entrepreneurial journey.
Jet’s entrepreneurial journey began with building small businesses in e-commerce and real estate. Like many founders, he experienced firsthand the challenges of starting and scaling a business—from product sourcing and marketing to financial management and operations. These experiences shaped his understanding of what entrepreneurs actually go through behind the scenes.
Over the past decade, Jet has worked with more than 800 business owners across a wide range of industries. His experience spans:
restaurants and food businesses
retail stores
service businesses
online businesses
mobile and startup companies
multi-location franchises
This hands-on exposure to hundreds of business models has given him a deep understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face, from financial systems and payments to growth strategies and operational decision-making.
His advising role with the SBDC has given him opportunity to advise and work with such a variety of small business owners from entrepreneurs who only have a concept all the way to clients who are looking to retire.
Jet is the host of The Personal Side of Business, a podcast and YouTube series focused on the real stories behind entrepreneurship.
Rather than focusing only on strategies and tactics, the show explores the human side of building a business. Guests share their personal journeys, including:
the risks they took to start their companies
the failures and setbacks they faced
the lessons they learned along the way
the mindset required to build something meaningful
The show features entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries including restaurants, technology startups, creative businesses, professional services, and manufacturing.
Jet frequently speaks and writes about topics including:
• Entrepreneurship and small business growth
• The emotional side of building a business
• Lessons from interviewing entrepreneurs
• Leadership and founder mindset
• Small business financial systems and payments

Through his podcast, advisory work, and content, he aims to highlight the human side of entrepreneurship—the experiences that shape founders not just as business owners, but as people.
Entrepreneurs and professionals featured on The Personal Side of Business include founders, chefs, advisors, creatives, and leaders from industries such as:
hospitality

Through his work as a business advisor and podcast host, Jet Bunditwong has interviewed and worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs across many industries. The Personal Side of Business platform documents the real-world experiences of founders, small business owners, and professionals as they build companies, navigate challenges, and pursue meaningful work. These conversations capture practical lessons about entrepreneurship, leadership, resilience, and the personal growth that often happens behind the scenes of building a business.
